Step 1: Decide on your banner size. Use the dropdown to select the size of your print. If your desired size is unavailable, select the size that is closest to your desired size, and indicate the exact size in the comment box during the checkout process.
Step 2: Enter the number of banners that you want to purchase, using the box at the right that looks like this. you can use the arrows or type directly into the space that originally said 1.
Step 3: Click on Add to Cart.
Step 4: Decide who will design the banner. If you want to design your banner we have templates with instructions under the tab marked Templates. These templates will work in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (they are Photoshop files). When you are ready to send your design to us you can email it to us or upload it by going to the Upload button, in your account. (To get to your account, log in, and then click on the three horizontal bars in the header of the web page, and click on the My Account dropdown).
We can help you with designing your banner. If you have images you want to include, such as a drawing of what you want, a logo, graphic and/or photo you can upload them into the file uploader which is just above this tab. You have to log in (or create an account) so that the software can keep your information attached to your order. If you don't have them available, it is no problem. You can send them to us via email or you can log in later, go to your Account Information (to get there go to the three bars in the top right-hand part of the web page) and go to the Upload Files icon and add them in there.
In the Comments section, when you check out, enter as much information as you can about how you want the banner designed. Be as specific as possible. If you want more information about design, you can click on the FAQ tab of slider at the top of the page (just over the main picture) and see our videos on design, design considerations, production and other videos.
You can design your banner to 25% of the selected size. Add 6 inches to the height for the sleeves. Add one inch to the width for the hem. Bleed color to the edges. Keep your text and important parts of the image from the top and bottom 3 inches because that will be where the stitching will be.
WHAT IS A CUSTOM FABRIC BANNER?
A Custom Fabric Banner is a handmade product (made in the USA). They are digitally printed and individually sewn. Custom banners can be printed with just about anything you want put on them. It is very much like printing from your computer to a printer, except that we are printing on fabric using a process called dye-sublimation.
Average turnaround production time is 5 days AFTER the approved design is submitted to the printer, plus transit/shipping time. If you need it faster, please let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
WE DESIGN FOR YOU
We provide FREE design services for simple designs.
Logos and graphics need to be sent to: email@example.com or uploaded through our uploader. Images and logos must be vector graphics (usually file types ending in PDF or EPS) because we are going to enlarge them. There is no set-up fee and no color fee (these are digitally printed). The first draft and first revision of the design will be free. There will be a $15 charge for revisions after the initial one. Please be as specific as possible when requesting your banner design. Turn-around time on banner design is one to two days. When we design a banner for you we will send you images for your final approval. We will not print a banner without your written approval of the design.
If you have the Adobe Photoshop™ or Illustrator™ application, you may choose to download the template that we have available and design the banner yourself. Open the tab that lists your flag size and click on the link to download. Illustrator™ users can open up the Photoshop™ file in Illustrator™ and work with it there. Before sending the file to firstname.lastname@example.org save it without layers in PDF format. Please do not alter the template, except to add your design to it. Please don't design on the safe layer. Your design should bleed to the edges. You can design in RGB rather than CMYK, for optimal color choices.
Screen Proofs depict Design Layout, Text Accuracy & Image Placement, but will only ESTIMATE Color Matching or Color Density. We DO NOT guarantee that the Custom Printed Flag will match the color displayed on your Computer Monitor or Printer. Fabric has a different density than paper (more porus so less ink can stick to it) so flags will look differently. We cannot match colors exactly.
Vista Flags has no upload capability on our web site, so we communicate via email. Since we need everything in writing, all correspondence concerning custom flags is done via email. Once we receive your email indicating a design as APPROVED, Vista Flags is released from ALL liabilities for any errors including, but not limited to: Grammar, Spelling, Color Matching, Size, Image Placement, Resolution, and Color Density. Custom banners are NOT returnable.
While we try to match the colors as accurately as possible, a variety of things will alter the colors, some of which are beyond our control (currently) including humidity. Inks respond differently to temperature (we put it through a heater) and can change from batch to batch. If you are designing your own banner and it contains yellow, make it at pure as possible (100% Yellow - 0% everything else), slight percentages of other colors may turn the yellow green. A note about Red: We cannot get bright red because we have to mix Magenta and Yellow. For the best red use 5% Cyan, 100% Magenta, 90% Yellow, and 1% Black. Reds made up of 100% Magenta and 100% Yellow comes out red to the orange side. Custom banners are NOT returnable.
The purpose of the banner is typically to get your message out to your potential customer as quickly and accurately as possible. So keep the message simple. The more text is on the flag the harder it is for a customer to figure out what you do or sell.
BEFORE YOU BUY
1) Not all cities allow this type of advertising and custom banners are NOT returnable. Please check with your local authorities before purchasing to make sure you can display this type of advertising.
2) We are not responsible for knowing if you have the correct poles for your application/use of the flag.
3) Custom banners are not returnable. Please contact us before purchasing if you have any questions. We would rather have you satisfied with our products than make a quick profit from selling something that you didn't want or that won't work for you.
We offer one and two-sided banners.
We offer Sleeves or Grommets for mounting. We don't sell poles specifically for banners.
