Our Custom Perforated Window Decals are an excellent choice when you need your special message on a durable, long lasting sign for your window. Perforated Window Decals are mounted on the outside of your window for maximum visibility while still allowing you to see out when looking from the inside out.
Our aggressively priced custom perforated window decals will save you money. They can be easily installed and are removable without leaving residue.
Custom perforated window decals are offered in sizes from 2 x 3 feet up to 5 x 20 feet, but the signs themselves can be any size. For example, if you wanted two 18" x 24" window decals, we can print them on one 2x3 foot piece and cut them in half for you.
The prices listed are our web special and do not apply to phone orders.
Discounts are applied at checkout.
Each decal is printed on our Canon Arizona UV printer for vibrant, long lasting colors. Decals are removable but not reusable.
A perforated window decal is a printed sign that we print directly onto perforated, adhesive vinyl material, which is removable, so in the future you can easily replace the sign. These decals feature one-way vision, allowing you to see out the window when inside but not inside when you are outside. This is possible by puncturing 20% of the vinyl material with tiny holes called micropunctures. These micropunctures are small enough for the decal to maintain a high-quality image on one side yet be see-through on the other side. Like our examples above.
These decals are designed to be used either indoors and outdoors. The most common uses include business/storefront advertising, window decor, product promotion, window signage, and branding. Often this type of materials are used to cover entire windows, they also deflect sunlight and provide shade and privacy.
Perforated window decals are made with durable vinyl and will withstand rain, sun, and other elements.
We offer Custom Perforated Window Decals in varying sizes.
First clean the window area where you want to install your decal. (You know you been wanting to do this anyway, now you have an excuse to get it done.)
Hold up the decal to the area you want to install it to make sure the size is right.
Mark the top two on the glass with something you can wipe or wash off later (like a dry erase marker). If you have a line level you might want to use that to make sure the top is exactly level (especially if you are even a tad OCD, like I am). These decals are removable, but NOT reusable, because of the holes and the fact that they are vinyl, so taking it off will pretty much make a mess of them).
For Large Decals: Pull about 1 inch of backing off the top decal and cut the backing off with scissors. Line the top up with the marks you made previously and press the decal lightly to the window with your finger to give it a very light hold. Check to see that the decal is going where you want it to by holding the rest against the glass. Reposition as necessary, but be careful not to stretch the material. Because of the perforations, and the fact that it is vinyl material it can stretch. Once you are in position, remove the backing little by little, from top to bottom (it is best to have someone help at this point). Using a credit card or squeegee or some similar (soft, flexible) straight edge, smooth the fabric out starting a the center and working outward. The person holding the fabric a little way away from the glass and the other person removing the backing and smoothing out the fabric.
For Small Decals: Pull the backing off the decal. This should reveal the black back of the decal. Next line up the top to your marks (while holding the rest of the decal back a little bit so it doesn't stick). Stick it at the top and while gently pulling the bottom corners out and down, put the rest of the decal against the glass.
Take a credit card, squeegee or some similar (soft, flexible) straight edge, and working from the center out, push the fabric against the window.
The first step in ordering a custom sign is to actually place the order. We can't start the production process without a paid order.
Step 1: Select your options. If we are going to help you design your window decal, put in as much information in the comments section as you can. If you have a logo or picture you want us to use, upload it using the file upload option on the product page. We need high resolution images, so send the best image you have. If you have a choice send a vector file (the file will generally end in pdf, ai, or psd).
Step 2: Select the size and number of window decals you want. NOTE: if you want multiple custom decals of the same size but with different images, you can select the total number of decals you want, you don't have to have a separate product for each decal of the same size. So if you want 5 different 2' x 3' window decals, you would enter 5 as the quantity.
Step 3: Click on the ADD TO CART button.
If you don't have the images or instructions at this time, you can go through checkout and then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also send questions, comments, images, and design instruction to our designers at email@example.com.
We can help with designing your decal. We offer SIMPLE design help (a $75 value) which means we will work with you to come up with a design. Since this is a FREE service we don't offer more than one design change after the first design is presented (unless it is a minor, simple change). After that we have to charge a $15 design change fee. So please be as specific as you can when giving us your design instructions.
If you have images you want to include, such as a drawing of what you want, a logo, graphic and/or photo you can upload them into the file uploader which is just above this tab. If you don't have them available, it is no problem. You can send them to us via email.
In the Comments section enter as much information as you can about how you want the sign designed. Be as specific as possible.
You can also send questions, comments, images, and design instruction to our designers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Designing it yourself: If you are designing the banner yourself you can upload it our send it to us via email. Design in RGB mode for the best colors and make the design 50% of the final size (to keep the file size down). Save it without layers and send it as a PDF, TIFF, JPG, or AI file.

This Custom Product has an average turnaround production time of 3 days AFTER the approved design is submitted to the printer, plus transit shipping time.
Screen Proofs depict Design Layout, Text Accuracy & Image Placement, but will only ESTIMATE Color Matching or Color Density. We DO NOT guarantee that the Custom Printed Sign will match the color displayed on your Computer Monitor or Printer exactly. Every substrate (print media) has a different density than paper so printed material will look differently. We can match colors fairly well, however.
Vista Flags has no upload capability on our web site (after checkout), so we communicate via email. Since we need everything in writing, all correspondence concerning custom products is done via email. Once we receive your email indicating a design as APPROVED, Vista Flags is released from ALL liabilities for any errors including, but not limited to: Grammar, Spelling, Color Matching, Size, Image Placement, Resolution, and Color Density. Custom products are NOT returnable. However, we will make every attempt to satisfy our customers.
While we try to match the colors as accurately as possible, a variety of things will alter the colors, some of which are beyond our control (currently) including humidity. Inks respond differently to temperature and can change from batch to batch. If you are designing your own sign and it contains yellow, make it at pure as possible (100% Yellow - 0% everything else), slight percentages of other colors may turn the yellow green. Custom Sign are not returnable.
