Use these scripture stakes to mark your property as belonging to the Lord. Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." The act of staking - claiming God's ownership over land - is not about the stakes. There is nothing mystical about the stakes they are simply wooden stakes with God's word written on them. "There is nothing special about a stake in itself, nor the person who is driving a stake into the ground. It is the act of marking the land with scripture that is a symbol of faithfulness and submission to God’s authority – a calling out to God to bless the land and rescue His people. Before you drive your stakes be sure you are right with God. Confess your sin, ask God to purify your heart. Ask God to bless this process to take back the land that rightfully belongs to Him. Hemphill says to confess out loud that Jesus is Lord over you and over the land you are staking. Read the verses on stake aloud and pray God's protection on the land, His will to be done on the land, and that all who step into the land will feel the Spirit of God and know that His Spirit is on them. Steve says to renounce any curses or evil that have ever occurred on the property.
